Priscilla Rodriguez is the visionary founder of Family Consulting and Coaching, author of Healing from Trauma Bonds, podcaster, and keynote speaker. A compassionate counselor, consultant, and advocate, Priscilla has dedicated over a decade to serving vulnerable populations—especially youth, families, and providers impacted by adverse childhood experiences.
Specializing in early childhood development and trauma-informed care, she champions a holistic and culturally responsive approach that addresses the whole child and family unit. Through keynote presentations, psychoeducational workshops, social-emotional groups, podcasting, and direct clinical work, Priscilla empowers families, educators, and communities with strategies to foster healing and resilience.
Her mission is clear: to recognize childhood adversity as a societal issue and offer attuned support that nurtures strength, equity, and opportunity for all.
Curtis founder of CLC consulting is a dedicated Financial Counselor specializing in trauma financial with extensive years of experience. With a strong background in culturally proficient financial education, Curtis integrates expertise in personal finance with a trauma of money approach, emphasizing the connections between financial and mental wellness. Passionate about breaking generational beliefs, Curtis helps vulnerable individuals become financially wealthy and knowledgeable. He offers services to individuals, groups, and corporations, holding certifications in Financial Health Counseling, Accredited Financial Counselor and Trauma of Money designation. Curtis is backed by a BS in Psychology and Human Services from William James College among multiple other certificates in mental health.
Curtis is part of a dedicated team committed to making a significant impact on societal issues like human trafficking, domestic violence, substance abuse, economic disparities, community unrest, and health inequalities. Leveraging trauma-informed financial literacy, Curtis fosters a nurturing environment, enhancing discernment and reducing stigma associated with financial struggles. As an AFC certified financial coach, he supports organizations and individuals with money management solutions. Curtis's role as a counselor helps people understand the connections between socioeconomics and physical/mental health, actively expanding his network to share best practices and opportunities for connection.
Elba Colon is a Transformational Coach, speaker, and founder of Awaken the Gratitude. She helps individuals and teams reconnect to their values, build resilience, and create cultures of presence and clarity. With a focus on gratitude and mindset, Elba inspires organizations and communities to shift from survival to thriving, bringing both heart and strategy to her speaking and facilitation.
Edward Nunez serves as the Advocacy & Mentorship Coordinator at Family Consulting and Coaching, where he blends his strengths in administrative leadership, mentorship, and community advocacy. With a heart for service, Edward provides essential organizational support while uplifting those around him through guidance and encouragement. His role extends beyond administration — he is a steady mentor and dedicated advocate, ensuring that families and providers feel supported, valued, and empowered in every interaction..
Originally from Detroit, Michigan - Nika is a multi-talented creative, entrepreneur, and community-driven professional. She is the Founder and CEO of Nilanjo! Fashion Entertainment, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that uses fashion and entertainment to produce a variety of events that raise awareness and funds for various initiatives and causes, that promote social wellness, and supports local entrepreneurs. Nika is also the Owner and Creative Director of Nilanjo! Boutique, an e-commerce lifestyle brand offering handmade as well as curated fashion, beauty, and wellness products. Additionally, Nika sits on the board for the Dorchester Food Co-op and is a member of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce.
With a Master's Degree in Leadership, Nika works full-time, focusing on amplifying youth and family voices. As a published author and poet, she has released two poetry collections, "A Reason, A Season, A Lifetime: Poetically" and "Gemini: Poetry & Beats." Shayla is the beloved therapeutic support dog at Family Consulting and Coaching, bringing comfort, joy, and calm wherever she goes. She plays a special role in healing groups, social-emotional activities, and community events, helping children and families feel safe, connected, and supported.
Although she will be fully certified by March 2026, Shayla has already begun to show her natural gift for providing comfort and connection in different spaces. Her gentle presence and playful spirit remind us that healing often begins with unconditional love, trust, and companionship.
